New Museum of Discovery Galleries Set to Open Just in Time for Thanksgiving Break
The Museum of Discovery is launching two brand new permanent galleries - Science Lab and Dynamic Earth - in mid-November and mid-December, respectively.
Dynamic duo: These 78 new interactive exhibits, created to replace the ones destroyed in the 2021 flood, are sure to provide lots of fun and science-filled experiences for the whole family.
Impressive details: The Science Lab and Dynamic Earth exhibits were designed by Hands On! Studio and fabricated by Universal Services Associates.

Seis Puentes Hispanic Outreach Breaks Ground on New North Little Rock Headquarters
Seis Puentes Hispanic Outreach, a North Little Rock nonprofit, is celebrating their new headquarters to make services more accessible to the city's Spanish-speaking population.
The root of their mission: Executive Director Raul Fernández was inspired to serve the community by his parents, who came to North Little Rock from Puerto Rico in the late 1970s.
Community service: Their services include English lessons, help with tasks like paying utility bills and registering children for school, and a municipal identification program in partnership with the city. The expansion is set to cost around $300,000, partially offset by grants from the city.
