LRAC Breaks Ground on Pickleball Park for Pickleball Enthusiasts and Rising Sport
Little Rock Athletic Club is doing a huge expansion in early 2024 that will feature indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, a walking trail, and an entertainment area.
Raising the roof: As of right now, this will be the state’s first indoor pickleball facility. LRAC is pulling out all the stops with this one - the project is estimated to cost $3.2m.
One-stop shop: The pickleball park will also have observation decks, lounge areas, TVs and courts available to rent for private and group lessons, company events and more.

Clinton Presidential Center Announces Major Expansion Project
The Clinton Presidential Center, a Little Rock landmark since 2004, is getting a major facelift!
Eco-friendly: The expansion, designed by award-winning architect Jeanne Gang, will maintain the Center's Platinum LEED certification and environmental-conscious sustainability construction.
Grand plans: The project will also include the new Hillary Rodham Clinton Institute that will hold her personal archives and papers and serve as a hub for her nonprofit and advocacy work.
Additional details expected to be unveiled in 2024.

Gov. Huckabee Sanders Announces Dollar General Distribution Center Coming to Arkansas, Bringing 300 New Jobs
Dollar General Distribution Center is coming to the Eastern part of North Little Rock, bringing 300 new jobs and an investment of $140m to the state.
Time to celebrate: Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced the project at Little Rock Chamber of Commerce sparking joy in the local community.
Helping out: The company has also added fresh fruit and vegetable options to ten of their stores in Arkansas — two birds, one stone.
