UAMS is making a difference in Mental Health
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has announced it will be the first medical facility in the U.S. to help those suffering from major depressive disorder.
🧠Cutting Edge: UAMSis the first in the U.S. to use a new treatment for depression called SAINT®. This treatment, approved by the FDA, uses MRI scans and special brain stimulation over five days to help people who haven't gotten better with regular medicine.
