Dia de los Muertos
Día de los Muertos, a tradition rooted in Mexican heritage, honors ancestors through altars and celebrates their brief return from the dead. Organizations in Little Rock have dedicated their efforts to making this celebration unforgettable.
🕯️ Honoring Heritage: Friday's Day of the Dead Celebration will take place at the Ron Robinson Theater, organized by the Central Arkansas Library System, Plaza Frida, Consulado de México en Little Rock, and the Downtown Little Rock Partnership.
🪅A Festive Gathering: Saturday’s Celebration at Plaza Frida will be a large community gathering featuring a Catrines and Catrinas competition, a community altar exhibition, delicious food, captivating performances, and unique local shopping.
