Razorbacks Set to Embark on 16 Team SEC for 2024 Football Season

The Razorbacks' 2024 schedule is jam-packed with some tough SEC matchups including 7 home games next year. 

  • Home sweet home: The Hogs kick off the season with a visit from UAPB in Little Rock before 3 of the next 4 games on the road. However, the team closes with 5 of the last 7 games at home in Fayetteville. 

  • Battle of the boot: The Battle of the Golden Boot returns to Fayetteville for the first time in October since 1936, followed by two of the Hogs' all-time rivals (Tennessee & Texas) paying a visit.

Rock N Roll Sushi to Open its Fifth Arkansas Location in North Little Rock

Rock N Roll Sushi is coming to Arkansas in a big way, opening their fifth location in the state on December 15th. 

  • Rockin' Arkansas: With locations already in Little Rock, Benton, Conway, and North Little Rock, Rock N Roll Sushi also has their sights set on Fayetteville, with a projected March 2024 opening date. 

  • Sake it up: The sushi restaurant has teamed up with Arkansas-based Origami Sake to launch their own branded sake in the Little Rock area, to be available in all Arkansas locations later this month.

Little Rock Launches New Downtown Ambassador Program

Little Rock Downtown Ambassadors are now on the streets, providing a visible presence seven days a week to help residents and visitors feel safe and welcome in the city. 

  • On the beat: Operated by Block by Block with funding from the city and LRCVB, this team of eight full-time ambassadors and one supervisor are available in River Market, SoMa and the Main Street Creative Corridor from 7am-8:30pm. 

  • Keep an eye out: Look for the Ambassadors in their highly visible, bright blue and green uniforms. They work closely with the Little Rock Police Department to provide additional help and safety to residents and visitors.

  • Local talent: Our Little Rock is hosting an art show and cocktail party featuring local artists' works in various mediums, with a silent auction and raffle prizes. It started on Dec 11 and will run through the 15th.

  • Something new: Eric Cohu has officially resigned as Little Rock Christian's head coach to launch a football consulting business and work with the Israel Football League.

  • Fighting hunger: A Little Rock task force has unanimously endorsed a mobile grocery store to address food deserts, with recommendations to be voted on next year.
