Arkansas Jobless Rate Hits Record Low of 2.6% in June
Arkansas is setting records with job numbers and its fourth consecutive month of record-low jobless rates, dropping 20% since June 2022.
Growth spurt: Total employment in Arkansas had a 1.6% jump this June, with big gains in the Leisure and Hospitality, Education and Health Services, and Construction sectors.
Low and lower: Arkansas boasted a 2.6% unemployment rate in June, marking its lowest rate since the series began in 1976.

Walmart and Sam's Club Donations Help Arkansas Children's Address Urgent Needs
Walmart and Sam's Club have raised $1.4 million for Arkansas Children's through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Mighty impact: The six-week campaign saw donations at registers, online and through creative efforts at individual stores across the U.S. and Canada. Since 1987, the joint effort of Walmart and Sam's Club has raised over $1 billion for CMN Hospitals, including over $45 million for Arkansas Children's.
Living proof: 11-year-old Zach Chamness' story of being diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 2 and surviving 8 years cancer free with the help of Arkansas Children's is just one example of the impact of these donations.

Stronger together: Hungry Howie's gave away over 100 pizzas to families impacted by the tornado and are donating a portion of proceeds to Arkansas Disaster Relief.
