The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce wants to matchmake prospective job hunters with Central Arkansas business through their “Love, Little Rock” talent attraction campaign.

  • Highlighting: This campaign is aimed at out-of-state job seekers with a connection to Arkansas to showcase all the area has to offer and entice them to make the big move.

  • Incentive: If they apply through the campaign, they are rewarded with a $10,000 signing bonus and an additional $5,000 after their first year in the state.

Little Rock Teens Take Their Snow Cone Business On the Road

Endia Sparks and Raeghan Coleman, two teenagers from Little Rock, had a dream to start a snow cone business. Now, that dream has come to fruition through their ‘pink and turquoise shed’---and has expanded even further with a mobile cart.

  • Sharing the love: The business has grown rapidly and has given the cousins the opportunity to share the summertime treat at churches, businesses, and more.

  • Eyes on the prize: The two are taking their dream and running with it, slowly but surely, with hopes to eventually open up their own store front.

Community Coming Together to Clean Up Park After Tornadoes

Neighbors in West Little Rock's Walnut Valley are rallying together to clean up and restore the neighborhood park that was damaged in a March tornado.

  • Gloves off: Volunteers are donating both time and equipment to help in this effort.

  • Unity: Local churches, friends and family have come out to lend a hand in restoring the park to its pre-tornado glory — together, we're more powerful than ever.
