Can We Get a “Woof Woof”?

Rowdy Ruff House

A new dog daycare, Rowdy Ruff House, has opened in Maumelle for pups of all ages and sizes to play.

  • Doggy Heaven: The owners have spent years making this dream a reality. The facility is large and spacious with plenty of room for dogs to run and play, and if they are overnight guests, sleep. Check out their Facebook page to see pictures of the space!

  • Pawsome Options: It’s not just doggy daycare! Rowdy Ruff House employees treat the pup as their own. They offer boarding, training, puppy school and, soon, grooming. You can also swing by to bathe your pup at the self-serve wash.

Check out their website and download the free app to make your pup’s reservation.

The Wheels on the Bus Go...

Rock Region Metro

With Our Little Rock attendees on board, the wheels on the Metro Little Rock bus went round and round through Little Rock’s favorite neighborhoods during Saturday’s Pub(lic) Bus Pub Crawl!

  • Around Town: Attendees boarded the bus at the Rock Region Metro Bus Station located Downtown and made stops at the Heights neighborhood, Historic Hillcrest, and Stift Station. To end the day, the bus returned downtown for bowling at Dust Bowl Lanes and Lounge.

  • What’s the reason?  Our Little Rock has a mission to make Little Rock more livable and highlight resources to residents. Yesterday’s Pub(lic) Bus Pub Crawl showcased Metro Little Rock which offers a vastly underused resource to residents of the area.

Fun For The Family

Little Rock Zoo Welcomes New Baby Orangutan

On Friday morning, the Little Rock Zoo announced the birth of a Bornean orangutan. The baby was born to Berani and Bandar, and it is their second offspring after their first was born in 2019.

  • Healthy Mom and Baby: Mom and baby are healthy and can be seen at the Little Rock Zoo exhibits throughout the day. Check out KARK’s article for more on the story.

  • Critically Endangered: There are fewer than 70,000 Bornean orangutans in the world, making this event even more exciting and momentous. Learn about how the Little Rock Zoo supports conservation efforts here.

Plan your next visit to the zoo to see the new baby. Check hours of operation on the Zoo’s website.
