Celebrate Black History Month in Little Rock

• 🎉 A Saturday to Celebrate: Hosted by UAMS, the 2025 Midsouth Black Expo is this Saturday. It will feature over 100 exhibits, live entertainment, health check-ups, free mammograms, and more to celebrate healthy families, generational wealth, and community empowerment.

• ❤️ Explore the Rich Black History of Our City: Little Rock is overflowing with opportunities to participate in Black History Month celebrations. Start by taking a guided tour of Central High School, or immerse yourself in the vibrant heritage at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center.

Who will be crowned SoMardi Gras King & Queen?

Little Rock's downtown neighborhood, SoMa, is hosting a memorable Mardi Gras weekend during the first weekend of March.

• 👑 Support SoMa Royalty: Six Little Rock couples are competing for the SoMardi Gras Royal Court. The couple with the most donations will be crowned King and Queen at the VIP Pre-party. Contributions will support the SoMa Postcard Mural by local artist Maddie McClintock.

• 🎟️ Party like a VIP: The SoMardiz Gras x Little Rock Marathon VIP Pre-Party will have live music, a Cajun dinner, two complimentary drinks, and stunning performances from Arkansas Circus Arts.
