Yes, It’s All Vegan: A Quick Guide to Little Rock Plant-Powered Eats
We collaborated with Susan Taylor, a longtime vegan and animal advocate, Little Rock native, and founder of Pits & Chis Whiz, to gather her favorite vegan-friendly spots in town. Her requests are simple: provide more vegan options and clearly label how any dish can be made vegan. And for the all-vegan spots? Please stay open later; nighttime munchies are real. We present to you this guide filled with vegan goodness.
Fye Vegan Chic

Taco Tuesday at Fye Vegan Chic hits different with tacos, burritos, and chimichangas and of course gooey cheese dip. The rest of the week? You’ll find Southern comfort specials that make you forget every sad salad you’ve ever met: burgers, mashed potatoes, greens, mac-n-chz, banana pudding, BBQ jackfruit, chili chz fries, and so many more goodies. I’d never even had a burger on a donut bun until I met Chef Tamika back before she had this food truck—and trust me, it’s downright good as it sounds. She’s still got it on her menu, so go check it out and see how this Black-owned vegan food truck is changing the plant game here in Little Rock.
City Silo Table + Pantry

City Silo Table + Pantry is the kind of spot that makes being vegan feel easy and fun. Think smoothies, bowls, cute shareables, and coffee all in one cute spot. The staff actually know their stuff when it comes to vegan swaps, so you can order with confidence instead of playing twenty questions like us vegans too often have to do. My personal faves? The acai bowl and the cacao banana smoothie! Bonus: You can sit a spell on their patio and then mosey on over to shop at The Promenade at Chenal.
The Utopia Deli

If you reckon vegan comfort food can’t stack up, pull up a chair at The Utopia Deli and prepare to be proven wrong. You can expect bold, plant-based takes on classics like chicken tenders, Korean tacos, and even a Philly cheese steak sub. And for us vegans who want satisfying Southern breakfast options, check out Utopia’s new yummies. They’ve got faves like scattered hashbrowns, country maple ham, burritos, and yes—even cinnamon roll donuts. And don’t forget the seamoss lemonade to wash it all down!
Meme’s Twisted Potato and More

Dare say vegan comfort food can’t cut it? One bite at Meme’s Twisted Potato and More and you’ll be singing a different tune. This Black-owned gem is all about fresh food that feels good and moves straight from farm to table. Chef MeMe’s menu is stacked with tacos, salads, nachos, cauli-wings, lentil and spinach empanadas, and comfort staples with a spin like her original Mac & No Chz and her signature Boss Hook’em Burger. Ask her about her private chef offerings, watermelon ice cubes, garden full of fresh goodies, and sister brand of vegan yumminess called Wat Dat Mouf Do. Tell her I sent you.
Camp Taco

Camp Taco serves up Little Rock’s own Wet Hot American Summer but with beer, tequila, and vegan tacos. I love that the menu clearly marks vegan options, including Mexican ramen (ask for double noodles—trust me) and a rich, creamy vegan cheese dip served up with chips salted just right. The whole space has a cool, creative aesthetic complete with a glittering mirrorball overhead that feels right on brand for East Village. My only wish? That they’d go ahead and make the rice and the bean dip vegan too. (You know us vegans love us some beans!)
The HOME

The HOME team prides themselves on serving up grandma-style comfort favorites and staying rooted in the “let food be your medicine” mindset. Chef Elnora Wesley keeps the spot deep in community action as a village hub for connection. Go in hungry and choose from her vegan soul food options that taste like a hug. Expect options like Southern greens, shrimp po-boys, baked beans, green beans and mushrooms, and her original StreetLoaf/NoWheatLoaf. Here’s where you get fed body and soul, and I’ll tell you plain: you won’t find better anywhere in the city. Ask Chef Elnora Wesley about her private chef availability and her catering services.
Afrobites

This spot is a real jewel: casual, flavorful, and full of heart. The menu is packed with African staples and includes vegan dishes that are clearly marked and seriously delicious. Think jollof rice, coconut rice, yellow rice, plantains, jackfruit, greens, and a rich black-eyed pea stew. The spice is just right, the food is always fresh, and the team is so kind—they even remember my order every time. You can’t miss the bright green food truck on Wright Avenue here in Little Rock, and you don’t want to miss supporting a Black-owned spot that wraps you in comfort both on the plate and in the way you’re welcomed.
