AR-OK Carpenters Apprenticeship Center Opening in Russellville with Grand Opening Ceremony
The new Arkansas-Oklahoma Carpenters Apprenticeship & Training Trust facility is opening in Russellville on Wednesday.
Wide open: This 35,000-square-foot facility will offer high schoolers and adults alike the opportunity to learn a new and specific skill while also being debt-free.
What to know: The grand opening ceremony will include a building dedication, talk from the Arkansas Secretary of Labor and Licensing Daryl Bassett, and tours of the facility.

Arkansas Travelers End Great Season After Forcing Game 3 with Amarillo
The Arkansas Travelers batted their way to a 6-5 win over Amarillo to force a third game in the Texas Championship League series but ended up losing 1-9, putting an end to a great season.
High Fly: Leo Rivas broke the tie with a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth inning (one that barely made it over the fence!) to ensure the Travs would live for another day.
Clutch Performances: Tyler Locklear and Alberto Rodriguez hit consecutive homers in the fourth, while Robert Perez, Jr. was clutch with a two-run single in the fifth inning.
