A Carnival of Curiosities

Imagine this: a children's museum filled with adults 21 and over enjoying pizza and beer while exploring the museum. Well, it does exist! It’s called Science After Dark and it’s happening tonight.

• 🔥 Carnival Magic: The theme for the evening is "A Carnival of Curiosities," filled with fire shows, carnival games, and maybe even bearded ladies.

• 🍻 Drink Up: This 21+ event (ID required) is $5 or free for members. Pizza, craft beers, wine, and Tito's cocktails will be available for purchase.

🎶 Sing Your Heart Out with the Arkansas Choral Society! 🎶

The Arkansas Choral Society is Central Arkansas’s oldest choir and is accepting new members.

• 🎼 History in Music: The Arkansas Choral Society in Central Arkansas has performed Handel’s Messiah every year since 1930. They perform at major events, collaborate with high school and college choirs statewide, and offer scholarships to college students.

• 😮 🎶 Sing with the choir! Rehearsals are on Mondays during the fall and spring, and anyone can join—no auditions are needed.

Paint Family Portraits Together

On August 23 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, join AMFA for a class where you can paint your family portrait.

• 🎨 Create Memories: This evening will inspire creativity and help families create memories as they come together to create beautiful portraits of one another.

• 🖼️ An Artistic Experience: Participants will be guided through drawing exercises, culminating in a final watercolor masterpiece that will become a keepsake for years to come.
