UA Little Rock Announces Groundbreaking Scholarship Program with 'Trojan Guarantee' Offering Zero Tuition Cost for Students
UA Little Rock has unveiled a game-changing scholarship program for students who want to earn a bachelor's degree with no tuition cost - the Trojan Guarantee.
Advantage: For the first round of students, the program is tailored for Pell Grant-eligible students who also get the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, and will cover tuition costs not already covered.
Eligibility: All first-time and transferring full-time freshmen who begin at UA Little Rock in Fall 2024 are eligible.

Retail Revival: The retail sector is showing signs of recovery with 5.4% vacancy, down from a pandemic high of 10.1%. Restaurants and entertainment facilities are the driving force of this recovery.
Office flux: Office vacancy rates ticked up slightly at 10.9%, an uptick attributed to tenants wanting to avoid expensive moving and construction costs.

City parade: The free, annual North Little Rock Sertoma Christmas Parade, taking place at 2 p.m. Dec. 3 on Main Street, is sure to fill everyone with the holiday spirit.

North Little Rock's Rockwater Village Transforms from Blight to Upscale Area with Large Private Investment
Rockwater Village, a once blighted area of North Little Rock, is now a bustling development boasting nearly 900 residences and over $300 million in private investment.
Better together: Lisa Ferrell and Jim Jackson have been spearheading the project since 2005, with their vision of a walkable, dense area with plenty of amenities coming to fruition.
A long-term investment: A $1.2 million Tax Increment Financing (TIF) bond issued by the city to fund public infraastructure has resulted in an increase inproperty taxes from $58,874 to over $850,900, with the North Little Rock School District being the biggest beneficiary.
