Ballet Arkansas Celebrates 45 Years with Nutcracker Spectacular

Experience Ballet Arkansas's 45th Anniversary Nutcracker Spectacular with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra at Robinson Center, Dec. 8-10th.

  • Tis the Season: The Nutcracker Spectacular is the largest holiday production in Arkansas and 3rd largest tourism event in the Rock. Set to Tchaikovsky's paramount score, the production will feature live music by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and a cast and crew of nearly 400.

  • Nut Cracking Boutique: This year’s performances will feature partial updates to choreography, sets, and costumes as well as the Ballet’s official Nutcracker Boutique found in the lower lobby with each performance. There will be four performances over a three day span of Dec. 8-10th.

The Venture Center in Little Rock announced its inaugural Veteran-Owned Small Business Accelerator (VOSBA) cohort on its ten-year anniversary. 

  • Purposeful: The program is intended to foster veteran entrepreneurship in Arkansas through mentorship, specialized resources, and a presentation to potential investors at the end of the program. 

  • Impressive impact: The Venture Center has seen success with the 85% of its companies either still operating or having been acquired, plus over $2.5B in total investment capital raised

Little Rock Community Unites for "Anyone Can" Food Drive for November

The City of Little Rock is holding its "Anyone Can" food drive this November, and they need your help! 

  • What’s needed? Nonperishable items such as peanut butter, pasta, beans, and rice as well as canned vegetables and fruit. Can openers are also in need! 

  • Where to donate? Donations can be dropped off at 21 Little Rock Fire Stations through November 30th!
