Big Bad Breakfast to Open Second Arkansas Location in Downtown Little Rock
Big Bad Breakfast, the Southern comfort breakfast spot founded by the James Beard award-winning Chef John Currence, is set to open its second Little Rock location in the former Soul Fish Cafe space on Main Street on Oct 17.
Digging in: With 18 locations across the Southeast and three more in the works, Big Bad Breakfast is seeking to reduce the lines at its Bowman Road location with the addition of the Main Street location.
Early bird catches the eggs: Open daily from 7a-2:30p, the restaurant will only be closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

AMFA Brings Accessibility and Inclusivity to the Arts with Free Offerings For All Guests
The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts is expanding its offerings to make the museum experience more accessible for all audiences.
Inclusive access: The museum hosts weekly tours with various accommodations such as ASL interpretation, Spanish tours, tours for guests with dementia or Alzheimer's, and visual impairments, as well as sensory-friendly hours.
Free services: Wheelchairs, booster seats, portable stools, EnChroma glasses, sensory bags, and weighted blankets are available free of charge. Audio tours and transcripts are also offered in English and Spanish.

Arlo Washington's Remarkable Journey to Creating the First Black-Owned Bank in Arkansas
People Trust Community Federal Credit Union, founded by Arlo Washington, is the first Black-owned bank in Arkansas.
The mission: Washington, founder of 4 barbershops, is on a mission to provide access to low and moderate-income communities who may otherwise be unable to open a checking account or get a loan from a traditional financial institution.
Barber beginnings: Washington took his barbering skills and turned them into a college, from which he committed $1,000 monthly from its profits to provide low-interest loans to the community, ultimately leading to the creation of the Credit Union.
