Caring for Expecting Mamas

The Little Rock Black Nurses Association of Arkansas is collaborating with community partners, such as the Arkansas Birthing Project and the Derek Lewis Foundation, to host a Community Health Fair & Baby Shower focused on health, wellness, and support for men and women, all at no cost.

• 🩺 Wellness Checks: Complimentary check-ups for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and BMI will be offered. There will also be resources for those needing support with mental health and assistance to help quit tobacco.

• 👩‍⚕️ Support & Services: Meet medical professionals from North Little Rock Primary Care and Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Clinic (JCCSI), ready to help with referrals for those without a primary care doctor.

• 🍼 For the Mamas - Mothers than attend can receive pregnancy and parenting support as well as CPR information.

Don’t miss this free, family-friendly event on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watershed (3701 Springer Blvd). Enjoy door prizes, food trucks, and wellness vendors!
