Last Friday, UAMS Seniors gathered to commemorate Match Day, celebrating their residency placements with much anticipation.

• From Little Rock to Acrosss the Nation: More than 100 College of Medicine seniors participated in this annual event, securing residencies at prestigious hospitals across the United States through the National Resident Match Program

• Overwhelming Success: UAMS seniors were matched with top programs. 77 seniors will start their residencies in Arkansas, while the other 87 will begin their medical careers in different states.

Sustainability in the Rock 🌳 

The Sustain the Rock Awards, hosted by the Little Rock Sustainability Office, acknowledge the efforts of educators, non-profits, businesses, and individuals who have greatly contributed to a more sustainable Little Rock.

• Green GOATS: The Sustain the Rock Awards recognize businesses, non-profits, individuals, and city departments in Little Rock that promote sustainability by considering the environment, economy, and social fairness.

• Are you eligible? Nominees must live or have their main business in Little Rock, and you cannot have won in the past. You can nominate yourself, and the Little Rock Sustainability Commission will choose the winners. The winners will be announced in April 2024 and receive their awards in May.
