Fiesta en SoMa Returns

SoMa 501 is bringing back its colorful community celebration with the third annual Fiesta en SoMa on Friday, October 3, from 4 to 9 p.m. The free event will fill Main Street (between 12th and 15th) with live music, food, dance, and interactive cultural experiences in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

• 🪅 Cultural Celebration—Enjoy Latin American cuisine, shop from artisans, and watch lively dance performances with DJ Nica, Mariachi America, Ballet Folklorico Reflejos Mexicanos, and Club 27, plus the new TAC Wrestling show.

• 🫔 Tamale Taste-Off – Sample tamales from local restaurants and cooks competing for trophies and cash prizes. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.

Celebrating a Major Expansion

The Roland Sports Complex (RSC) is celebrating its major expansion with a Grand Reopening this Saturday, September 27, from 11 AM to 4 PM, and the entire community is invited to join.

• 💪 Building Community: The RSC will foster a sense of community and connection for athletes, families, and neighbors with amenities such as four outdoor pickleball courts, three indoor multi-use courts, and a 30-yard turf area for training. It includes a 2,500 sq. ft. weight room available 24/7, an event space for up to 500 people, and customizable membership options to suit every lifestyle.

• ⌛️ Coming Soon: More exciting developments are underway, including an outdoor pickleball court with concessions and seating, a hot yoga studio offering classes, outdoor covered batting cages with pitching machines, a full-service commercial kitchen, an on-site pro shop, and a walking trail on the property.
