Meet our Mover and Shaker of the Week, Vena M. Schexnayder, MSW, the Founder and Executive Director of Arkansas Problem Gambling Council (ARPG).
💪 Recovery Powerhouse: Vena leads ARPG's efforts to support those affected by gambling addiction statewide. She also serves on the boards of the Arkansas chapters of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the National Association of Social Workers.
💙 Mental Health: Kicking off our first "Mental Health Monday," we're highlighting ARPG. Since 2021, ARPG has supported those affected by gambling addiction through treatment, education, support, and prevention.
